5th Annual
Texas Motor Tour!
October
1st,2nd, 3rd
Join us as we cruise the Mother Road through Texas for three unforgettable days of fun, friendship, and celebration during the 100th Anniversary of Route 66.
Experience the sights, stories, and small towns that make Route 66 legendary as we travel east to west across the Texas Panhandle.
The journey begins in Texola and rolls through iconic stops including Shamrock, McLean, Jericho, Amarillo, Vega, Adrian, and Glenrio—each offering its own slice of Route 66 history, culture, and charm.
Come see what Route 66 is all about and celebrate a century of America’s most famous highway the best way possible—on the road.
Your $66 entry fee is packed with value and unforgettable experiences.
The fee includes lunch on Friday and Saturday, plus our Saturday night banquet dinner in Vega. Kick off the tour with live entertainment and music in Shamrock on Thursday night, and enjoy admission to museums and attractions along the route throughout the tour.
We make it a priority to spend your entry fee on you—ensuring a fun, memorable, and well-hosted experience as we celebrate the Mother Road together.
We often get asked: “What do you do on a Motor Tour?” and “Do I need a classic car?”
Our Motor Tour brings together a group of like-minded individuals—some lifelong Route 66 enthusiasts and others just beginning their journey along the Mother Road. We cruise together as a group, traveling as much of the original Route 66 alignments as possible, making scheduled stops at historic sites and points of interest along the way.
Throughout the tour, we share meals, stories, knowledge, and a common love for Route 66. It’s two days of fun, fellowship, and discovery—whether it’s your first experience on Route 66 or your 200th, there’s something for everyone. We typically have a great mix of newcomers and seasoned Route 66 travelers, and it always makes for a fantastic time.
As for classic cars—no, you do not need one.
We absolutely love classic cars and usually place them at the front of the pack, but they are not required. Bring your modern car, your mini-van, your motorcycle—we’ve even had couples join us in motorhomes.
Simply put, if it has wheels and you’re ready to cruise, you’re welcome to join the fun.
